Winnie Huang


Winnie Huang is an Australian violinist and violist based between Paris and Strasbourg, France. Winnie actively engages in the performance of contemporary music in Australia, Europe and Asia as a soloist and a chamber and orchestral musician and regularly collaborates on new repertoire with young and established composers. She has premiered numerous works in Europe and Australia, including performances at Ars Musica (Brussels, Belgium), Festival Sons d'Automne (Annecy, France), Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt (Germany), Rendez-vous Contemporains (Paris, France), Festival of Slow Music (Ballarat) and the Lucerne Festival (Switzerland).

Winnie is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and has continued her studies in France, in Bordeaux, Paris and Strasbourg.
